01/22/25 NEITHER MESSIAH OR BEAST
Donald J. Trump is not the Messiah, though some folks seem to think he is.
Donald J. Trump is not the anti-Christ, though some folks seem to think he is.
Therefore he is not the rider on a White Horse in the Book of Revelation.
Jesus is the Rider of the White Horse in Revelation 19.
The anti-Christ is the rider of the White Horse in Revelation 6.
Though Trump and the impressive team he can assemble seems to have the potential of leading our country and even our world into peace and prosperity, he seems to fit the profile of a "world deliverer," he is not. He cannot be the Savior, but he could become a prototype of the rider in Revelation 6.
Being able to lead us out of the Biden chaos, Wokeness, Socialism, racial and political upheaval, Government corruption, financial failure, attacks on family, faith and freedom, does not make Trump a saint or a sinner. God uses influential people to accomplish His will, whether it is redemptive or judgmental.
Any person can turn from a good direction to an evil direction and any person can turn from an evil direction to a good (godly) direction, through the miraculous work of God through faith in Christ, if they repent of sin, and submit to God. God uses saved and unsaved people and their actions to accomplish His will. Throughout history God has used blessings and burdens to draw and even drive people to accomplish His will.
But it is also true that throughout history Satan has had a person ready to become the "man of sin," but only one man will actually become the anti-Christ.
We have seen, and we are seeing in Trump, how one individual can have an overwhelming influence on world affairs. We should be thankful for good leadership, but never think that our hope is in men, organizations, governments, military, education, economics, medicine.
Psalms 20:7
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Do not trust any man as your deliverer. Only God is our Savior. Only God's word is our rule.
Recognize and be thankful for the good things God will be doing through our new Administration. But always realize that our hope is in the Lord, not in men or human wisdom or power.
Don't allow yourself to lean too far in either direction concerning Trump or any other champion of the people.
Worship of Trump is idolatry, and Trump hatred is so extreme and twisted that it causes people to actually stand against the good and aggrandize the evil.
