Various actions are used to defeat an enemy.
1. Satan attacked Job by robbing him of personal relationships and accomplishments
2. Satan was relentless, adding trouble to trial continually.
3. Satan attacked Job through his closest living relationships.
4. Satan attacked Job's body, his health.

Job's trials were much heavier than our daily struggles, but the battle plan is the same for those who stand strong in the Lord.
In the days ahead, believers can expect spiritual attacks intensifying...
by robbing us of our most precious relationships, possessions and accomplishments.
by adding trial upon trial and compounding the rapidity of those trials.
by turning our closest relationships (family and friends) against us.
by afflicting us in our bodies.

If you wait for Satan to intensify his attack, before you go deeper and build stronger, they probably won't get much worse, because Satan will already have you at spiritual weakness and shallowness.
But if you want to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, now is the time to prepare for the coming attacks.
Be as close to Christ as possible. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. Take care to be the believer God wants you to be now.
Study God's word. Grow in grace and knowledge. Hunger and thirsts after righteousness. Be the kind of believer that no one needs to make excuses for your behavior.
Be fully committed to Christ and His Church (through your local church). Be the part of that local body of believers that brings God glory and brings others grace, encouragement, joy, success.
There is much to be and there is much to do. Now is the time to live up to your calling and your potential.
We need not fear the future, or the wiles of the wicked one, or the deceptions he uses.
We are called, not only to make it through somehow; we are called to make it victoriously.
