TURNING TESTS, TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, TEMPTATIONS INTO TREASURES
When God gives a command, which He knows we will not obey, it is not to taunt us or tease us or torment us. It is a test, which will prove us, and an opportunity for us to trust Him and prove His faithfulness.
When God allows us to be tempted by evil, we can either distrust Him and sin, or we can trust Him and walk in light, grace, truth, love, the Holy Spirit.
When God either tests us or allows us to be tempted, it is an opportunity to be faithful to Him. God wants us to be saved, and He wants us to be victorious, and He has provided everything we need for life and godliness, and He has power over darkness, but He gives us a free choice to obey and be blessed or to disobey and be cursed. Trial, testing and temptation will either result in godliness or godlessness, it is our choice as believers.
James 1:12-17
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Don't blame God for your sins.
Don't say God chose not to deliver you from sinning.
Don't say God has destined you to continue in sin.
Don't say that those who are in grace will continue in sin.
Don't say that your continuing in sin is for the purpose of continuing in grace.

Romans 6:1-2

Romans 6:15-22

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
The Christian response to trial, testing and temptation is faithful obedience to the will of God.
Faithful obedience produces spiritual victory and godly graces.
James 1:2-4

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
