I took several Gospel Tracts when we went to Morehead today. While Martha was at the doctor's office, I was getting my steps. While I am walking I near Walgreens I looked for opportunities to witness.
On this occasion, 3 of the 4 people (all men) I talked with, gladly accepted one of the little booklets I was handing out.
One of them is a believer and thanked me and offered to return it so I could give it to another person. I suggested he read it, and if he liked it he could share it with someone else. He thanked me and offered God's blessing on me and my effort.
I met and talked with someone from The Island. We talked about our common heritage of Diamond City. I also gave him a tract. Come to find out, we have 17 mutual friends on FB.
I shared with a delivery man from Wilmington and one from Greenville, one of which accepted my offer.
We went to a local shopping center where I walked and witnessed some more. I stopped to talk to two men who were in their cars. They both accepted the Tracts. Finally, I approached a man walking to a restaurant and asked if I could give him something to read when he has the time. I told him what it was, and he warmly received it.
I approached 3 black men, all of which accepted a tract, and 5 white men, 4 of which accepted tracts.
I pray to meet the right people, and I pray to be a good witness. Then I pray for the person I talked with.
Praise the Lord for opportunities.
