06/26/25 IF ONLY HUMANS WOULD BE AS CONSISTENT

06/26/25 IF ONLY HUMANS WOULD BE AS CONSISTENT

AI is not a person. AI is the digital gathering of information and may be presented through a human like model (audibly and visually).

AI is developed with human influences of the programmer and with the ability to compile and co-ordinate information based on algorithms, which shade AI responses.

At this stage, AI can actually give accurate answers to some questions. AI also includes collateral information, which is not always true or accurate. However, when questions are carefully framed, AI can stay on subject.

I sometimes use AI as a sounding board for Biblical, theological and doctrinal questions. For instance, I have asked AI if there is a verse or verses in the Bible (and I designate which translation), which indicate that God calls people to have a pure heart; that God enables people to have a pure heart; that the Bible credits with having a pure heart.

AI then tells me that a pure heart should be our aim or goal, and that we should not expect to actually attain a pure heart. AI tells me that we can strive for a pure heart and that we can progress toward a pure heart, but our humanity, our inherent sin will keep us from reaching purity of heart. When held to the Biblical record and narrative, AI agrees that the Bible indicates that God can purify our hearts in this present evil world and that the Bible stipulates that God has purified the hearts of believers in this present evil world.

AI proceeds to point out that there are those who follow the Wesleyan view of Christian Perfection. After referencing the Wesleyan view, AI gives the misinformation that Wesleyans believe in an absolute perfection and a perfection which make it impossible to sin. When asked if that assertion is consistent with Wesleyan thought, AI admits that it is not the understanding of most Wesleyans.

Though AI is not a person and cannot be converted, AI is more honest and consistent when confronted by strictly factual issues, such as what the Bible actually says, rather than what some "experts" say, and also more readily admits that the doctrine of entire sanctification (Christian perfection, holiness of heart and life) does not hold to the faulty accusations which I hear from Reformed and Calvinistic people. It is too bad that humans cannot be as factual as a computer program.

It does not matter how much legitimate documentation I present to those who promote sinning religion, they hold to their errant beliefs and refuse to accept the factual evidence.

06/26/25 KNOWING HIM LEADS TO KNOWING ABOUT HIM

06/26/25 KNOWING HIM LEADS TO KNOWING ABOUT HIM

In order to understand God in a chaotic world, we need to focus on facts rather than feelings or prejudice or optics.

God sometimes uses the raven to accomplish His will, but that does not make the raven clean. Whether it is an action or a person, if it is part of God's plan, do not stand against God's choice.

We are living in a fallen and falling world. Do not be surprised when earthly plans and actions fail miserably.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and live by His word. Choosing to live by obedient faith is the greatest deterrent to spiritual deception.
Do not presume on God's goodness.
Obedience is faith in action.

Salvation is experiential and livable.
Salvation is knowable and demonstrable.
You cannot be a Christian if you are passive rather than active in your relationship with God.

Non commitment to God is commitment to resisting God.
Biblical faith believes God, obeys God, seeks God, follows God.
Faith is active, not passive.
Why do I constantly emphasize that which is God's revelation? Because highly regarded deceivers are leading multitudes away from Biblical salvation into sinning religion.

06/26/25 DON'T SETTLE FOR THE "CLIFFNOTES"

06/26/25 DON'T SETTLE FOR "CLIFFNOTES" Theology.

Correctly understanding the unfolding drama of redemption (God's plan and purpose to redeem the fallen world, for which Jesus died as a sin sacrifice) requires a knowledge of the purpose, the plot, the players. Don't be fooled by reviews written by critics who have only seen a short scene from one of the many acts, or a critic who is grinding a philosophical axe.

Our world is complicated, and God's involvement is detailed and deliberate. The only way to properly understand it is to get God's point of view, which is revealed in The Holy Bible.

06/25/25 DON'T BELIEVE A POOR MISINTERPRETATION

06/25/25 DON'T BELIEVE A POOR MISINTERPRETATION

When people deny that God actually purifies the believer's heart in this present evil world and then says that Christians can only progress toward being pure in heart, they are actually saying that impurity of heart is good enough, and being pure is not required by God, or provided by God.

They might need to read and believe the Bible as the revealed word of God.

06/25/25 BEING AND DOING GOOD

06/25/25 BEING AND DOING GOOD

Man is not God and therefore no man (other than the God Man, Jesus Christ) will save our world (or anyone in it) from sin, corruption, chaos and eternal torment.

We, as Christians, should follow in the steps of Jesus (Who did no sin, and no guile was found in His mouth), but He went about doing good. In fact, Christians are created in Christ Jesus for the express purpose of doing good.

Our "doing good" will not save the world, but God will use our good works to enlighten those in darkness, free those enslaved by sin, encourage those suffering loss or oppression, and God will bless us and reward us for the good (the works of faith) that we do.

Don't follow popular opinion. Diligently seek truth and do the will of God (which is consistent with His word and is manifested in love), regardless of whoever agrees or disagrees.

Though you may be familiar with these verses, it will be helpful to read them again, meditate on them and heed them.

06/24/25 MAKE YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID

06/24/25 MAKE YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID

I have warned that we should not pledge our confidence or allegiance to a man or a party or a country. Only God deserves our unrestrained devotion. The promises of this world are doomed to failure.

Be glad for the good that God provides, whether through an angel or a raven.

The only Rider on a white horse Who will bring lasting peace, and real victory, will be Jesus.

Align with Christ and His word. Love God, not the world or the things of this world. Beware human heroes.

Don't choose your course based on a popular personality or party and don't reject your course based on an unpopular personality or party.

Align with the eternal, the Holy: align with God and bring every thought captive to the obedience Christ.

Worldly success (personal or national) is only a vapor. Build on the solid foundation of Christ.

06/23/25 CHRISTIANS IN A "POST CHRISTIAN WORLD"

06/23/25 CHRISTIANS IN A "POST CHRISTIAN WORLD"

A quick overview of the Christian's relationship to a non-Christian world.

God is sovereign, He is the ultimate Lawgiver, Judge and King.

Humans are fallen, but free moral agents, given the obligation and opportunity to believe on Christ, turn from sin and submit to God's will.

Human Government is instituted by God for the protection of the innocent (law abiding) and the punishing of the wicked (lawless), whether domestic or foreign.

God uses the believer and the non-believer to bring about His rule and reign, but God does not force salvation or reprobation on anyone

God requires, enables and rewards faithful submission and living, which is the supernatural response of Divine love within the believer. Still, the believer is able to choose evil, as Adam (who was created without a sinful condition) chose to do evil.

Individuals and States (governments) are able to resist and reject God's will, but God will hold them answerable for their lawlessness and rebellion.

We will all be judged for our deeds done in the flesh, whether good or evil. Those who repent (believe on Christ as Savior and Lord) and live by faith (submit and obey God) are justified by faith in the death and resurrection of Christ.

Christians are directed to obey legitimate authority (from the familial to the governmental spheres).

HOWEVER, any "authority" which commands or requires personal disobedience to the revealed (Scriptural) rule of God must be rejected, in which case we are to obey God rather than men.

Christians choose to do that which is right.

Christians submit and support legitimate governmental authority (local and national).

Christians are directed (through New Testament revelation) to be personally non-violent. It is the States responsibility to enforce justice and judgment on a human level, and it is God's right to exercise eternal justice and judgment.

Christians live by faith (willful trust), and by love (fulfilling the law of God).

Faithful obedience to God will not bring the kingdom of God.

This world is estranged from God and for the greater part, it will not be reconciled to God.

Christians are light and salt in this world and we should do that which is best for this world (always within the will of God), but we are not going to reconcile this world. Christians support the of this worlds wealth, knowledge, law and order, government and military power to promote the well-being of our society. But it will always fall short.

After all of our human devices are expended, the world will still be in chaos because it rejects the rule of the King of kings.

This is no cause to just throw caution to the wind or to sit idly by. We should do what good we can while we can. Even then, it will have a short-term effect. We are not going to resurrect this dying world, but we can offer Divine solace and eternal life to anyone who will believe.

We are created in Christ Jesus to do good works and he that knows to do good but does not do it to him it is sin.

06/21/25 THE MASTER IS NOT A PUPPET MASTER

06/21/25 THE MASTER IS NOT A PUPPET MASTER

God has sustained Israel, as a people and as a nation. This is not because of Israel's personal worthiness but because God has a plan and He has made promises, which He will keep.

God loves the whole world (in spite of lies we are being told). Though God loves the whole world and He has provided salvation for the whole world, His plan for individuals and people groups (including nations) varies.

God has been working His plan for Israel for thousands of years. He has also told us part of His plan ahead of time. Some of God's prophesies have been fulfilled and some prophesies will be fulfilled in the future. The hatred for Israel has been foretold, along with the military attacks that are taking place today.

In fact, the present and future attacks against Israel as a restored nation were prophesied thousands of years ago, though Israel has been conquered, enslaved, dispersed and dissolved.

We have watched as God has preserved and delivered Israel as a nation over the past 77 years, from repeated and overwhelming attacks. Even now Israel is being protected as a nation (not for its politics or spirituality, but for God's plan). We have seen Israel survive the hatred and violence of millions of people, many mighty nations. God uses various tools in His protection of Israel, but it is Divine intervention, not American intervention that has kept Israel. It is better for a nation to be friendly with Israel than to be Israel's enemy. But God will protect Israel, regardless of what any nation does.

However, there will come a time, in God's plan, when Israel will suffer defeats and will actually enter into a treaty with the devil himself. Still, God has a plan. At its darkest moment, Israel will realize that Christ is Messiah and Israel will turn to God in faith.

The worst is yet to happen to Israel, but the best will follow.

For those who want to see Israel falter and fail as a nation, stay tuned. But be aware, it will be followed by Israel's greatest victory.

Don't be on the wrong side of history, don't be on the wrong side of His story. Don't be on the wrong side of God. God will bless those who bless Israel and He will curse those who curse Israel.

I recognize the Divine importance of Israel in God's salvation through Christ. I also recognize God's plan to use Israel in the days ahead.

Though there are some very profound characteristics and values present in Israel as a people, its importance as a nation is not because of Israel's politics, empty religious practices or personal piety; Israel's importance is because of God's plan.

God loves the whole world, but there is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ. Israel will be preserved, but Jews will not be saved until they put their faith in Jesus, the true Messiah. No man will be saved until he puts his faith in Jesus.

The journey is going to get much more difficult in the days ahead. Make your calling and election sure by living in the light of God's word and by the power of God's Spirit; by trusting Christ and Christ alone for your salvation; by walking in His steps.

If you are not walking the walk, you are not saved.

06/20/25 AN ENCOUNTER WITH AI

06/20/25 AN ENCOUNTER WITH AI

I have consistently said that AI should not be our source of information, especially when it comes to Bible, Doctrine, Theology, Christianity, Ethics, History or even Science. Obviously, there are other valuable and reliable resources and there are specific fields, which require technical expertise, but when Biblical revelation is contradicted or circumvented in favor of humanistic beliefs, then we need to be faithful to the faithful truth revealed in God's word. This is where AI (and any other "authority") must be relegated to the status of extraneous information (or misinformation).

During a Bible study session and also in a Young Adult Meeting I recently demonstrated some concerns I have about using AI as a tool, as it relates to Christian issues (Bible, Doctrine, etc.). In my carefully constructed "conversation" with Gemini, I elicited answers and comments from Gemini which were strictly Biblical. As a result, it looked like AI is a reliable resource for studying the Bible, since I endeavor to teach the truths of God's word. I framed my questions, and comments in such a way that Gemini was limited to Biblical answers, without human opinions (regardless of doctrinal persuasions).

I realize that legitimate questions and comments may be styled in such a way that false assumptions can be made, whether by AI or actual men. Knowing this, I tried not to "influence" Gemini with leading questions or trickery. I was looking for Gemini's "honest" and factually based information to my questions.

In response to my inquiry, Gemini gave answers and information from Scripture and Biblical linguistics. Gemini's responses sounded like a normal Bible study or message that I have been proclaiming for over 50 years. The reason this is worth mentioning is that my folks were not surprised by the AI responses, yet when I am talking with most people, they either deny that what I say is being found in the Bible, or they revert to human doctrinal systems to explain why the Bible does not mean what it says.

I have interacted with AI enough to know that it will revert to opinions, popular views, "expert" interpretations, man-made doctrinal systems. Remember, AI has access to nearly all of the world's knowledge and information. AI is not the voice of God. AI is the voice of man. At this point in time, AI can and will quote God's word. But it will also give man's view of God's word (whether accurate or not).

There is no substitute for knowing God's word. There is no substitute for being filled with God's word. Being filled with God's word is essential to living a life that is filled with God's Spirit. We must know and understand God's word in order to not be led astray by the message or the messengers of darkness (whether humans or spirits or cyber generated or [futuristically] cyborg related).

The most prevalent sign of the rising and pervasive influence of the anti-Christ spirit is deception. Scripture warns about being deceived by Satan, who presents himself as an "angel of light." Remember what happened in Eden and remember that Paul was concerned that the Church could be led astray by the same Liar, as was Eve.

There is no substitute for God's light, God's truth, God's leading. We receive all that God wants us to have through personal and corporate growth. Make sure that you are seeking God and His truth and make sure that you are learning God's truth through reliable, Spirit led, and Spirit filled and Christlike teachers of the word.

06/19/25 HONESTY IN MACHINES

06/19/25 HONESTY IN MACHINES

I guess that most serious students and writers would agree that AI is a helpful tool when it transmits actual information from an actual document, without the collateral input from other sources. I realize that collateral input is helpful in some situations, but when looking for exact reporting, it is essential to eliminate extraneous information.

I sometimes go to an AI program and ask questions about Biblical information. It is not for study purposes, but for research into current and/or popular theological, doctrinal and religious issues.

Up to this point I have found that AI tends to answer Biblical questions by referencing Scripture itself (instantly), but then it goes into interpretations, popular views, "expert explanations," which it has gleaned from millions of sources around the world. However, when I persist in asking for a Biblical response, it politely concedes that my premise is accurate. Usually this leads to another level of discussion and more extraneous information. Still, I continue to ask for the Biblical position or Biblical record without collateral sources. AI eventually acknowledges my actual premise as being accurate and consistent with the Biblical position.

It is totally different when I am talking with a person who is arguing for a man-made belief system. I often talk with cultists and sinning religionists who constantly leave the actual Biblical record and refer back to their pet doctrinal position or so-called historical scholarship.

As AI will move further into the Super AI format there will be less conversation and more domination, which is what I run into with the actual ARTIFICIAL INTELIGENCE manifested by those who deny Biblical truth and cling to the false teachings of men.

I can make a Biblical statement to false teachers, and they will deny it. I can show the passage to false teachers, and they will explain it away. I can present a plethora of evidence, and they will revert to logical fallacies, claiming that those fallacies disprove what is clearly recorded in the Bible. When dependent on Biblical evidence, AI has no choice but to accept truth.

I have had interesting interaction with AI concerning the doctrines of Christian Perfection, Christ raising Himself from the dead physically, the Deity of Christ, Biblical holiness. When confronted with unwavering commitment to Biblical truth, AI agrees with the facts of the case, unlike my encounters with people who hold to the false doctrines of men at all costs.

There will come a time when AI becomes as dogmatic about error as humans are. This will happen because of biased programming and popular algorithms. In the meantime, I am having more honest interactions from a machine that has almost instant access to almost endless documentation, than I have with people who claim to believe the Bible.

06/17/25 SEEKING GOD

06/17/25 SEEKING GOD

This is long. It is a list. If you disagree with my overall premise and presentation, simply show me clear and repeated passages that contradict this list.

Popular, un-Biblical forms of Christianity tell us that men do not seek God. The Bible does tell us that sinful man does not initiate seeking God. God initiates seeking us (not because He does not know where we are, but in order to save us from our lost condition). God seeks and calls us to salvation. We are able to respond to God's call, but it is a free choice, not a programmed behavior. We then seek the Lord in hope, faith and submission, which eventuates in our personal conversion. We seek Him because He sought us. We love Him because He loved us. We CHOOSE TO either trust, love, obey and follow Christ, or NOT TO trust, love, obey and follow Christ. Part of our salvation is to seek the Lord. It is a Biblical directive, which God requires of us.

This post includes approximately one hundred (100) verses and passages, which clearly and specifically indicate that humans are directed to seek God, that humans can seek God, that humans can find God, that humans are warned and commanded not to seek an alternative to God and that men do seek an alternative to God. We are given the ability to seek, look for, pursue God in response to His seeking us. Remember, Paul sought to "apprehend" (lay hold of, possess) that which "apprehended him."

SEEK
The following verses and passages are taken from the Old and New Testament, documenting God's directives and warnings and condemnation and judgments for those who either seek Him or do not seek Him. There are many more instances in the Bible, which refer to "seeking," but I have only referenced those which concern personal seeking of God. This makes it evident that seeking God is not only possible, but obligatory. I have used the word "seek" and its cognates and the word "sought" and "besought." I did not use all of the verses or passages in Scripture. I only used those which are clearly applicable.

I have designated each verse or passage with a key (P, N P/N)
P = Positive response to seeking God.
N= Negative response to seeking God. (Eiether not seeking God or seeking false gods.)
P/N Both Negative and Positive response to seeking God.
Obviously, the wider context of each passage adds more light, but the context does not change the main point of the passage.

10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
P/N (This chapter shows that God was rejected by Israel but then sought by the Gentiles. In both cases the grace of God was being demonstrated.)
Psalm 65:1-25

N (God's judgment falls on those who seek out other gods [the stars of heaven, for instance].)
Jeremiah 8:2-3

2 And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.
N
Jeremiah 10:20-21
20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
P (seeking God in response to God's prophecy can divert God's judgment).
Jeremiah 26:19 (and the wider context)

19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.
N
Zephaniah 1:4-6

4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;
5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;
6 And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.

NEW TESTAMENT

There are scores of places in the Gospels where people sought or besought Jesus, but I did not include those verses, since they do not fit my intended purpose for this study. Also, "besought" can refer to a request or a petition, which is not the primary purpose of this study.
P (God honors those who seek Him.)
Romans 10:20-21

20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
N (seeking with a double mind cancels out the seeking).
Hebrews 12:15-17

15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

06/16/25 GOD INITIATES, WE RESPOND

06/16/25 GOD INITIATES, WE RESPOND

We love God because He first loved us.
We seek God because He first sought us.

No man initiates a search for God.
God initiates a search for us.
Christ came to SEEK and to CALL and to SAVE the lost.

When He reveals Himself, His love, His salvation, His call to us, we are able to respond either positively or negatively. We seek God because we know He loves us and wants to save us from our sins.
When the Bible says that none sought or seeks God, it is in reference to man's initiative. It does not mean that men cannot seek God, since the Bible clearly and consistently commands us to seek God, and that He acknowledges men do seek Him. God condemns those who refuse to seek Him, and those who seek demonic wisdom, power, leading and deliverance. Condemnation comes because of willful disobedience.

I am presently working on a document that lists the scores of verses in the Bible, which make it totally clear that men have the opportunity and the obligation to seek God.

06/13/25 DON'T BE DUPED

Whoever is glad for, pleased with, rejoicing in the Iranians developing nuclear weapons capabilities, and whoever is smugly celebrating the prospect of Israel being wiped from the face of the earth, is so thoroughly demented and depraved that they are on the verge of being unreachable and unredeemable.

Whoever fits into this description needs to get saved now. You are a child of darkness.

06/12/25 BEWARE THE PEACE MERCHANTS

06/12/25 BEWARE THE PEACE MERCHANTS

Israel cannot depend on a peace DEAL to be worked out. When you hear of peace, beware.
It is all lining up Biblically. If you are antisemitic, you are on the wrong side of history.

06/12/25 WARNING TO ANTISEMITES

06/12/25 WARNING TO ANTISEMITES

For those who have been Jew and Israel haters, you better repent and cut your ties with the Satanic agenda that is clearly revealed throughout Scripture. You better find a church that aligns with Gods plan.

Every day that comes seals the doom of specific Christ rejectors. Tomorrow could be your day, if you don't repent.

06/11/25 AT LEAST ADMIT THE TRUTH

06/11/25 AT LEAST ADMIT THE TRUTH

If you read your Bible, regardless of what you believe, you must acknowledge that the Bible says that sin separates from God, and Christ saves those who trust Him for salvation from sin; He saves them not only from the penalty but from the power and the pollution and the life of sin. This is clearly and repeatedly said in the Bible.

Any contradiction of what the Bible says is a lie. Well-meaning people sometimes believe a lie because they are deceived. Don't propagate the lie, which says God does not save His people from sin and sinning in this life.

God's salvation from sin does not give folks reason for self-aggrandizement or self-glorification. Salvation from sin glorifies God. On the other hand, falling into sin and walking in sin denies God's glory.

Salvation from sin in this life is not only an obvious and repeated Biblical doctrine (teaching), but it is also a livable reality in the life of a totally trusting (which includes, obedient) Christian.

I am sorry that so many Christians have been fed the lie that God is unwilling to save believers from all sin in this life, or that God is unable to save believers from all sin in this life, or that God is uncaring that believers continue to sin and to be ruled by sinful nature in this life.

Being saved from all sin does not mean believers cannot be tempted, or that a person cannot sin after salvation. Being saved from all sin means that a believer CAN NOT (believers have the ability, through the saving grace of God, to NOT sin}.

Believers are saved from sin by faith. Believers live by faith. That which is not of faith is sin. The wages of sin is death. Christ came to save sinners from sin.

We have a choice. We are responsible for our choices. Every believer wants to stop sinning (which brings them to salvation), but many believers have been misled to believe God does not save them from sinful actions or sinful nature in this present evil world.

The Bible clearly tells us that believers (those who are walking in the light God is giving them) have victory over THE WORLD, THE FLESH AND THE DEVIL. Any other teaching is demonic.

Salvation from sin in this present evil world is a radical doctrine. But that is expected from a radically Holy God, Who provides a radical salvation.

06/11/25 HOW ABOUT THIS FOR RADICAL

06/11/25 HOW ABOUT THIS FOR RADICAL

Sadly, people (including Christians), are suckered into looking for, or accepting supposedly radical Biblical views. Usually, those views either sidetrack or derail folks from actual Biblical and Christian faith and behavior.

The most Biblical and actually radical TRUTH is that God inhabits faithful believers and delivers them from sinful living and sinful nature in this present evil world.

Sin does separate believers from God and God does separate believers from sin.

Presumption does not save from sin or hell, but God actually does cleanse our hands from actively sinning, and He purifies our hearts from all corruption, through faith in the saving and sanctifying work of Christ.

How about that for radical and true?

06/10/25 A DEVIL OF A LIE

06/10/25 A DEVIL OF A LIE

Don't fall for the lie that the Nephilim were the offspring of angels, or fallen angels, or demons, with human females. A surprising number of "intelligent" and "spiritual" "Christian teachers" have been twisting Scripture to accommodate this pagan legend.

06/08/25 GOD ORDAINS FAITHFULNESS

06/08/25 GOD ORDAINS FAITHFULNESS

There are verses and passages, which are universally true (applicable at all times to all people).
There are verses and passages, which are time and people specific.
There are verses and passages, which are time and people specific, but contain principles, which have universal truths.

Here is a verse which was time and people specific (spoken at the time of Asa's reign, spoken to the prophet, Azariah and directed to King Asa and the Southern Kingdom of Judah), but it presents a principle which is universal.

The principle is:
The presence and blessings of God are with those who willingly submit to His Lordship, but God is against those who forsake Him.

2 Chronicles 15:1-2
1 And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:
2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Here is the universal truth...
"...The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you."

God's grace delivers us from our sins; God's grace does not deliver us in our sins.
Walk (live in) in light, truth, faith, love, humility, and you will live.
Walk in (live in) darkness, deception, disobedience, carnality, pride, and you will die.

Scripture constantly, consistently and continuously tells us to seek God, to trust God, to obey God.

We are to seek the Lord while He may be found.
If we draw near to God, He will draw near to us.

In drawing close to God, we will cleanse our hands (turn from sinning to holy living), and we will purify our hearts (turn from the sin nature to be pure, even as He is pure), both of which are made possible through a faith relationship with Christ.

Don't let anyone explain the clear truth of God to you in such a way that you settle for anything less than being conformed to the image of Jesus in this life.
If what you are told does not lead to a Christlike life, it is a lie.

06/06/25 CREATED TO DO GOOD WORKS

06/06/25 CREATED TO DO GOOD WORKS

(A heads up for those who read my previous post. The last part of this post is a repost and will contextualize my thoughts for those who did not read my previous post).

NEW POST...
I realize that no one is inherently good but God. I also realize that salvation makes us good and equips us to do good works.

We use the term, "good," in reference to personal, social and civil actions. This is not to be confused with good, as it applies to righteousness. It is good to be kind, generous, forgiving, considerate. It is good to treat other people humanely. It is good to put other people before yourself. This is not to be confused with inherent and Divine righteousness, which God instills in believers and enables the faithful to manifest.

All sin is damnable, but sins carry different levels of impact on society. The stealing of an apple is not as terrible as a mass murder. Sometimes one evil act is worse than a different evil act. For instance, it is wrong to hate someone secretly, but it is worse to hate someone to the point of actually assaulting or killing Them. Hating someone will be judged by God as hating someone in your heart, but if you outwardly accost someone, there is greater damage, which may be irreversible, therefore the consequences are greater for the outward act. The same is true concerning other sins, such as coveting and robbing, or lusting and sexually assaulting someone physically. Carnal anger (hatred), lust, coveting are sins of the spirit, while assault, adultery, stealing are sins of the flesh. Sin is sin and all unrepented sin (unforsaken sin) separates from God. (And by the way, God's grace saves us from sins of the spirit and the flesh).

The natural man (the unsaved person) is inherently sinful, evil (unrighteous before God). However, on the natural plane, humans are capable of doing "good" things (at least on the social, personal, civil level). Our own good works do not justify us before God, and we cannot save ourselves by our good works, but God enables all people to experience a common grace that keeps us from being the totally untethered monsters we could become.

We can only be redeemed and reconciled to God by believing on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. However, all humans are capable of doing good things, on a social, personal and civil level. Doing good does not satisfy the righteous judgment we earned by doing evil. Forgiveness and reconciliation require an acceptable sacrifice for sin. Jesus, being the only Person Who has ever lived without any sin, is the only Person Who can offer a worthy and acceptable sacrifice for the sins of sinful people.

Doing evil results in being more subject to evil tendencies and doing more evil deeds. The more wickedness that a person does, the more likely they are to do even more evil in their future. The less wickedness a person does, the fewer will be their regrets and consequences in this world, whether they get saved or not. The more a person sins, the more they become enslaved to their sins and less likely to repent of their sins and get saved.

The answer to good and evil is not simply a REFORMED life, it requires a TRANSFORMED LIFE, from darkness to light, from devil to Lordship of Christ, from death to life, and a CONFORMED LIFE to the image and nature of Jesus Christ. Divine transformation is the way of salvation, not human reformation.

So, we are not inherently good, but God makes us good when we are in a right relationship with Himself. God enables everyone to do good in the personal, social and civil arenas of life, though none of those good things will justify us or make us righteous. But as believers, we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works, to be good people.

Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Psalms 34:13-16
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Psalms 37:3-6
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Psalms 37:27-29
27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Matthew 5:44-45
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Galatians 6:9-10
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

1 Timothy 6:17-19
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Hebrews 13:15-16
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

James 4:17
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

1 Peter 3:11-12
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

06/04/25 THE "ISSUES" WERE BIBLICAL

06/04/25 THE "ISSUES" WERE BIBLICAL

In the 1980s (and probably before), some people accused me of being an "issues" preacher, which supposedly meant that I focused about "issues" rather than Biblical essentials.

I actually did focus on Theology (the doctrines about God, His nature, His works), Hamartiology (the doctrines about sin), Soteriology (the doctrines about salvation), Eschatology (the doctrines about end times [last things]), Ecclesiology (the doctrines about the Church and ministry), Angelology and Demonology (the doctrines about angels and demons), Missiology (the doctrines about evangelism and foreign missions).

I also preached about the Biblical teaching concerning the issues of life; PRACTICAL THEOLOGY (the doctrines of Christian behavior and godly living, and family life and Church/State relationship and functions, and morality and Christian allegiances, and Biblical authority in a Hedonistic, Materialistic, Humanistic, Communistic, Socialist, Naturalist, Statist world system, and how to live godly in an ever changing political, sexual, moral, religious society and culture. We figured our children were worth the cost and we knew that Jesus was worthy of the sacrifices.

I not only preached and taught about the enemies of God, but as a pastor I also led my people into new and radical steps of Biblical discipleship, to experience and preserve victory over sin, personal holiness, family life, sexual integrity, and to honor the authority of Scripture and the Lordship of Christ over His Church.

My preaching, teaching and leading was not simply rhetorical, it was confrontational in a rapidly disintegrating culture, which resulted in opposition and oppression from the State, society, academia, friends, family, the legal system, "Christian" leaders and organizations. We did not just talk the talk, we walked the walk, even if it meant losing jobs, cars, homes, family members or personal safety and freedom.

It was not always easy to follow Jesus as the enemies of the cross rose-up in a "Post Christian" world, which was not only embracing immorality, sexual perversion, State sanctioned baby murder, anti-Christian and violent religions, rejection of true science and common sense, persecuting Christ followers, but they were also forcing the insanity, infidelity and immorality of hatred, scientism, sexual deviance, Socialism, Humanistic and Secularistic Scholasticism onto Christians.

The Church, family, traditional morality was being oppressed and dismantled, while aberrant beliefs and behavior were replacing the moral principles on which our country was built. Our nation was becoming more actively anti-American, anti-Family, anti-Faith, anti-Freedom, and the American Church was following close behind.

The changes that took place from 2000 until today have been epoch and insane and demonic. Drugs, crime, deviant behavior, violence have become the accepted norm and those who even speak truth are subject to social ostracism, financial ruin, legal punishment. If you could have transferred a person from 1990s to today they would think that they had been dropped onto a movie lot during the making of a bad futuristic movie.

Yes, I preached about issues. I promoted Biblical truth, godliness and Christian values, while warning people about the coming tsunami of Statist idiocracy, academic lunacy, moral degeneracy, spiritual infidelity, scientific insanity.

I am still an ISSUES PREACHER. I am preaching (warning) about the rapid escalation and acceptance of prurient behavior, legalized lawlessness, deception flowing from "Christian" teachers and leaders, media outlets, pop-culture icons, the rise and spread of Artificial Intelligence taking the position of Holy Spirit, the intensifying of Biblically foretold events and atrocities. The modern Church has not only lost its way, but its soul and its mind.

Just as most American "Christians" sat back while our children were being stolen and defiled by godless schooling and perverted social engineers from the 1950s onward, so too are we seeing a society that not only is falling for the lies of darkness, but it is also supporting the sacrificing of children on the altar of sacrifice to eternal destruction.

The deceived don't realize how dangerous the deception is. They may mouth the right words, but at the same time they practice and endorse and enable the destruction of the children and betrayal against God and His word.

If your Christian faith does not address the issues of Biblical truth and the need for believers to radically stand firmly against the powers of darkness, then your faith is a sham, and you are a servant of sin rather than a warrior of the cross.

The need is not for the Church to come back to Biblical faith, but for the Church to go forward into battle, at all costs.
