Proverbs 29:1 is a very disturbing verse.
Not only does it point out that a man may willfully disobey God, at the peril of losing his soul, but it goes on to say that the offender may do it and SUDDENLY be cut off from God, WITHOUT REMEDY.
Proverbs 29:1
(1) He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
