11/13/25 A LIST OF BACSICS

The God of the Bible is not just merciful.
The God of the Bible is, "JUST," and "Merciful."

The God of the Bible does not save us in our sins.
The God of the Bible saves us from our sins.

The God of the Bible does not simply see us as righteous OR say we are righteous. (God is not deceived or deceiving).
The God of the Bible makes us righteous.

We are not righteous, pure, holy by our own nature or works.
We are righteous, pure, holy by faith in Christ and His sacrifice.

We are not kept by our own power.
We are kept by the power of God through faith.

Christlikeness is not inherent to our natural man, our old man.
Christlikeness is inherent to our spiritual man, our new man.

We are Christlike, not by declaration.
We are Christlike by transformation.

With man, salvation from sin is impossible.
With God, salvation from sin is actual.

Adam's disobedience abounded to all through sin and death.
Christ's salvation abounds much more to all, through Christ's sacrificial death and physical resurrection.

Because of Adam's sin, all children are born with a corrupted nature, which separates from God.
Because of Christ's sacrifices, all children are covered by the atonement, which explains, "He is the Savior of all men."

Personal sin results in all men being dead in sins and trespasses.
Personal faith in Christ, and repentance results, in believers being born again.
