Years ago, when I was part of an Evangelical Friends denomination (Bible believing Quakers), we had a very active, deeply committed group of believers in our local church. We were experiencing growth in personal grace, growth in numbers, growth in ministry, growth in ministry students, growth in evangelistic and world missions outreach.
There was such a movement of the Holy Spirit that we designed printed shirts that communicated our focus.
The front of the shirt said, "EARTHQUAKERS," with a picture of a globe shaking.
The back of the shirt said, "SHAKING THE WORLD FOR JESUS."
I am no longer a part of that denomination, but I believe every Christian and every local church should be, "EARTH-QUAKERS, SHAKING THE WORLD FOR JESUS."
While there is a lot of religious and moral upheaval taking place in our country, Biblical tremors are very slight. I want to be SHAKING THE WORLD FOR JESUS.
Acts 17:6
6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
